Current Projects
There are a range of current projects being undertaken by the Innovation Centre.

IC121 - Department of Health - PKI Design and Plan

The South Australian Department of Health has a requirement for a suitable PKI solution that allows devices and users to request certificates for specific uses.  These uses include domain-based device certificates, user certificates for EFS and SmartCards, and organisational certificates for macro signing.  The Department of Health would like assistance with designing and planning for a suitable Certificate Authority on Windows Server 2008, certificate practice statement authoring, certificate lifecycle management, and suitable redundancy in the root certificate authority and issuing authority.

IC118 - Department of Health - Clinician's Collaboration Portal

Clinicians face many difficulties when collaborating with their peers on treatment and advice.  Finding the right subject matter expert in a timely fashion is crucial to effective and efficient treatment.  A catalogue of participating SME’s in each discipline (cardio-thoracic, oncology, haematology etc.), their availability, and a set of tools to provide suitable collaboration (sharing of health records, video conferencing, audio conferencing, chat, ad-hoc virtual meetings, search of current treatment protocols) is important.

IC117 - Department of Health - Desktop and Server Deployment and Management

The Department of Health has a fleet of over 20,000 PC’s spread across more than 400 sites. A Managed Desktop Environment specification has been developed that now needs to be deployed to all those PCs to provide a standard user experience and enable cost effective support. An automated deployment mechanism is required to support this.

Past Projects
